While the death toll of the deadly virus has risen to about 170, BBC reports that the virus has now spread to every region in China.
Chinese health authorities has confirmed the cases of over 7,771 infected persons as at January 29th, 2020.
WHO Director-General ,Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, has expressed concerned over the spread of the virus especially human-to-human transmission.
The WHO will be convening today, January 30th, to discus if the deadly virus outbreak would pose a world threatening problem.
Although there is no specific cure or vaccine for the virus, many people who contract it have only mild symptoms and do recover from it.
It can though cause severe acute respiratory infection and lead to death.
Infections have also spread to at least 16 other countries while countries like USA, Japan, Canada, has begun a mass evacuation of her citizens.
